EURORIB'08

Giens (Cote d'Azur, France)
8 -13 June 2008

This is the first announcement of the EURORIB'08 meeting in Giens (Cote d'Azur, France) 8 -13 June 2008.

Our nuclear physics community is eagerly awaiting the construction of the next generation of radioactive ion beam facilities in Europe: NUSTAR@FAIR, SPIRAL2@GANIL, HIE-ISOLDE@CERN, SPES@LNL and future EURISOL. The collaborations built around these facilities are exploring new experimental and theoretical ideas that will advance our understanding of nuclear structure through studies of exotic nuclei. The Giens meeting will provide the opportunity for the different collaborations to come together and present these ideas, and explore the synergies within the research programmes based around the different accelerator projects. The meeting is expected to benefit from the EU grant in the framework of the FP7 SPIRAL 2 Preparatory Phase.
Please, put this meeting in your agenda.
The first circular of EURORIB'08 will be send to you by February 2008.
